Early-career journalists with a passion for environmental subjects can apply for a remote internship.
Mongabay.org is accepting applications for its Environmental Journalism Internship program, which primarily involves writing environmental news stories for its affiliated news site – Mongabay.com.
Interns will write six news stories on a variety of conservation and environmental topics throughout the six-month internship.
In addition, the interns will work closely with Mongabay journalists and receive one-on-one training, mentorship, and writing guidelines and feedback on their news stories before publication.
This is a partially paid internship.
